I like myself best in the morning,
When my eyes are still fresh,
Like dark slits fighting back light.
I like myself best in the morning,
When my skin is still pure,
Ivory without stain.
When I’m calm, not frazzled,
Not running on empty.
When I’m in my right state,
Not an embarrassment to myself.
Cool and refreshed.
So I like myself most in the morning.
But perhaps I don’t like myself at all.

I wrote this while I should've been paying attention in math. I think it gets weak towards the end, but I don't really care about fixing it. Just wrote it to pass the time. Comments are always appreciated.
